DXN

Representing
running
Heritage.

In 1983, Rod Dixon won the NYC Marathon in legendary form. In 1984 we introduced the DXN to the Saucony family.
Rod Dixon frequently visited the Saucony factory in Kutztown, PA, running hundreds of miles in every iteration of what was to become the iconic DXN Trainer.

Overview

The lace up front sits over a padded collar and tongue, along with a nylon/suede upper for long wear. The padded tongue, collar and footbed provide superior shock absorption, fit and extra comfort.

Technology

There’s textile lining and cushioning, with a removable insole, a shock-absorbing, striped EVA midsole and a durable, rubber traction outsole.

Heritage

In 1983 we established the Saucony DXN silhouette, in recognition of one of our world leading athletes, Rod Dixon.
